DaMarcus Nelson is a graphic designer, creative director, multimedia producer based in Ohio. He is a designer whose work blends faith, craftsmanship, and modern innovation. Inspired by a mix of retro charm, manual artistry, and contemporary precision, his aesthetic features natural elements, bold color, and a raw yet elevated sensibility.
His philosophy is rooted in the belief that creativity is not self-made. "We are all creatives, made in the image and likeness of our Creator" (Genesis 1:27). For years, DaMarcus defined his creativity by use of tools and mastery of technique, but now views creativity as something to be stewarded, not owned. "My work belongs to God and I am simply His vessel" (Exodus 31:3).
Guided by that conviction, his process is intentional and iterative, grounded in research, clarity, and problem-solving.
With over eight years of experience in graphic design, brand identity, multimedia production, and UX-informed digital design, DaMarcus brings a strategic yet hands-on approach. He is fluent in Adobe Creative Cloud, video production, and front-end development principles, and manual craftsmanship creating design systems that are both visually compelling and technically sound.
DaMarcus collaborates with mission-driven brands to turn ideas into design that drives impact, not just decorates. His work reflects a belief that excellence in design is an act of worship where creativity, craft, and conviction align.
